How Secure is the Tento Card?
The security of our cards depends on several factors -
- the size of the character set used
- the number of characters hidden in the card
- the size of the one-time password deployed
- other controls such as timeouts and retry limits
For example, one of our standard cards can produce over 150,000 different 6-digit OTPs. Each card is different and will display a different set of OTPs. In total, across all cards, with a 31-character set, billions of 6-digit OTPs can be revealed.
